We paid a lot of money for the card and we put s lot of money on the card too. Lounge is a privilege and we could not even get in. However, this was the first time we got kicked out of the door. However, Amex lounge is always crowded and many times we could not get a seat. Your health and safety continue to be our top priority. We got the platinum card and use it as our main card for expenses because of the lounge access. the Asian lady at the front desk rudely kicked us out because of being overcrowded. At the SEA airport, we walked all the way to the AMEX Centurion lounge. My spouse and I finished our vacation in Seattle and was on the way back to Denver. Really not a good ambassador for the American Express brand. She was friendly, extremely knowledgeable on the drinks available and a true master of her craft. Our lounge experience was somewhat redeemed by the fully stocked bar and the excellent young lady who was running it.

The bar area was, again, cramped with plastic looking furniture, but full length windows overlooking the runways. It would have been good to have rice or potatoes available with the beef the vegetable side was brussel sprouts, very tasty but rather a marmite choice. The beef dish we tried was absolutely delicious, tender and melt in the mouth, and the chicken soup pleasant enough.
